Nick Griffin Recruiting Story

Nick Griffin, who has offers from Mississippi State, Stanford, Arkansas State, Vanderbilt, and Southern Miss, is one of the best Running Backs in Mississippi. That’s not just an opinion either, he was elected to represent Mississippi in the MS/AL all-star game. He said it was a great experience, “It was fun playing with the best guys in both states, there is no other experience like it.”

Nick is going to have a very busy month coming up, “I have visits on every weekend in January”.

He will be visiting Arkansas State first(1/9), then Mississippi State(1/16), then Vanderbilt(1/23), and then finally Southern Miss(1/31).

When asked what he likes about Mississippi State, he said “I like that they are in the SEC and the campus is cool.”

When asked what he likes about Vanderbilt and Stanford, he said “They are two of the best academic schools in the nation and are both in good conferences.”

When asked what he likes about Arkansas State, he said “They offer more playing time than most of the other schools.”

And when asked what he likes about Southern Miss, he said “They are really close to home.”

Nick said he plans on making a decision on which school he will spend the next four years of his life at he said “Some time in January after all my visits”. Nick also admitted that he probably has a favorite, “MSU probably leads right now”.
