Bulldog Goes Pro: WR Lance Long to the Arizona Cardinals

WR Lance Long was the only bulldog taken at the 2009 NFL Draft and he wasn't drafted. The second and final day concluded with Lance Long being signed as an Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) to the Arizona Cardinals. Link

Lance Long reportedly only played one season for Miss State. Does anyone know who he is?

Safeties Derek Pegues and Keith Fitzhugh remain unsigned. This absolutely shocks me. Pegues played at the Senior Bowl and in my opinion played very well. His tackling was much improved and I thought he would be drafted. I especially thought my Jaguars wouldve taken an undrafted flier on him after coaching him at the Senior Bowl. What an odd thing to happen.
