Losing Receivers Left And Right

Hot on the heels of the news about Terrance Davis transferring to UTC, reports are coming out that WR Delmon Robinson has requested to be released from the team as well.

Unlike Davis, who sat out last year as a redshirt, Robinson actually played 11 games last season, catching 12 passes for 125 yards. No word yet on where Robinson plans to go.

With Mullen repeatedly stating that we need more receivers for his offensive playbook, I wonder why we have lost 2 in the past 2 weeks. Are there that many better receivers coming in as freshmen that threaten to take their places? Were they not happy with the new coaching staff or the new practice/workout routines?

Fall practice starts next week.

OUCH

no big deal really though – you guys signed a ton of WR’s this year. Someone will be just as good.

track star

That would be O’neal Wilder. He was showing his stuff at the spring game and really made some plays, even the crap that Tyson was throwing. Can’t wait to see what he does when Tyler starts at QB

track star

O’neal Wilder did make some great catches in the spring game, but he did not catch any crap from Tyson Lee. He caught the Crap Chris Relf was throwing up. Relf just threw the ball up and hope his guy would come down with it. And with O’neal going up againt a 5’9" corner he should have made those catches. Tyson is the QB who threw to Leon Berry and Terence Davis.
