Pernell McPhee, SEC DL of the Week

First things first - big props to Pernell McPhee. He was selected as the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Vandy. McPhee had 2 sacks in the 15-3 victory over Vandy. He also led a defensive front that only allowed 33 yards rushing on 29 carries.

Georgia Tech Kick-off set for 6:30pm

Joe Galbraith tweeted a few minutes ago that the kick-off for the October 3 Mississippi State v. Georgia Tech game has been set for 6:30pm and will be televised on CSS.

Playing USM

There are a lot of rumors flying around about State agreeing to a 2-1 series with USM. We will keep an eye out for any announcements that some say could be coming as early as today.
