Jerious Norwood has signed a 1 year deal with the Atlanta Falcons for $1.759 million. Norwood had an off year in his 4th season in the NFL thanks to injuries. He only averaged 3.3 yards per carry in 10 appearance and falling down in the depth chart.
In four seasons, Norwood has 1,987 yards rushing and seven touchdowns. He ranks third in team history with 2,987 yards on kickoff returns.
Keeping with the NFL, Anthony Dixon will be wearing #33 for the 49ers "for now". Number 24 is already taken by another of the teams running backs, Michael Robinson.
