The 500th game played in Humphrey Coliseum ended with another victory for the Bulldogs. The final score was 85-66. Auburn was never much of a factor for the entire game. The closest they got to making it an interesting game was when they pulled the score 53-41 with nearly thirteen minutes left in the second half. The Bulldogs went on a tear after that and easily handled the Tigers.
It's no secret to anyone that Auburn has major problems on offense, but MSU will take the win in an effort to add to the momentum gained after the win against Ole Miss.
The leading scorers were Ravern Johnson with 21 and Renardo Sidney with 15.
