Poll: Russell or Relf, Who should be the MSU QB?

After last Saturday's 21-3 win vs. UAB it's safe to say that State has itself a QB controversy.  Although Tyler Russell showed off his talent and ability to lead the MSU aerial attack with a high efficiency Saturday, Chris Relf is a senior and the defacto starter in a running option attack offense.  SO that begs the question:  who should be the MSU QB? Give us your vote.  And I wouldn't expect for Dan to vote in this poll.  He probably won't tell us until Saturday right before kickoff

State Fans, I am a traveling Carolina fan trying to figure out what to expect in regards to tailgating, alcohol, bars, etc., in Starkville this week, any advice?

here ua go...

Tailgating- most state fans are happy to give free food and beer to traveling opposing fans. But, like all schools we have our dickheads, so chose wisely. For your purposes though most/all tailgating will be south of stadium in “Junction”

Food- mugshots downtown is a favorite, restaurant Tyler if your feeling upscale, little dooey’s not far from campus, the grill, or if you’re into hole-in-the-wall joints, check out Stromboli’s for pizza or pettys on Hwy 12 for BBQ. The Veranda too great food great gameday atmosphere if you can get in.

Bars- depending on your age, I’d suggest the cotton district (just off campus), downtown (where mugshots is) also if you’re younger, or The Veranda if you’re 35+.

Chris Relf is a senior and the defacto starter in a running option attack offense.

Unfortunately, this offense hasn’t run, run the option, had much of a running option, or been particularly offensive (except to football fans) for a few weeks now. We’re already looking a a leftover bowl game (if that) so why not usher in the Tyler Russell Era? Can it be any worse that watching 5 or 6 more games of Relf making bad decisions and even worse throws?

If we don't get our sauce, we ain't watching the game!

I heard second hand

From the mother of a kid on the team that the players have lost all confidence in Relf. Too much calling his own number in the run game no matter the read, and too much indecision/inaccuracy in the passing game.

Tyler has way more upside, and two years left.

Why would they have confidence in him, especially the wide receivers? He can’t deliver the ball accurately and tends to put them in dangerous positions. Plus, he wastes tons of their plays by pulling the ball down and running it himself. They give tons of effort running patterns that he never even sees.
