- In the first quarter alone, Cox was credited with four tackles, three tackles for loss and a pair of sacks as the Bulldog defense held Kentucky to a total of 12 yards on their final two possessions of the quarter.
- Cox first TFL came on 2-and-1, pushing Kentucky back and forcing a punt on the first possession. Cox then posted back-to-back sacks to force another Kentucky punt.
