Where In The World Are Lawrence Roberts and Jarvis Varnado?

Former Bulldog Lawrence Roberts was drafted in the second round by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2005 NBA Draft, but ended up playing with the Memphis Grizzlies until 2007. After a short stint in the NBA, he made the jump over the pond and played for several European teams in Greece, Serbia and, most recently, Turkey.

So where is he now? According to a club notice (that we were alerted to via Lost Lettermen), Roberts has signed a two-year deal with Lithuania's Lietuvos Rytas.

Another former MSU standout, Jarvis Varnado, has also been playing overseas in the Italian league. The Commercial Appeal caught up with him when he was state-side for the Bluff City Classic.

The lock-out has Varnado in a wait-and-see mode. If it ends soon enough, he will get some workout time in with Miami. If not, he says he will head back overseas.
