EA Sports NCAA Football '12 Team Builder - Mississippi State Player Rankings

The demo for NCAA '12 was recently released, and the launch of the game is upon us.  To follow up our post on the team rankings among the SEC in NCAA '12, we thought we would take a look at how the current Mississippi State roster looked as far as player rankings. Because if you are anything like me, the first thing you do when you crack open the NCAA game is see how many national championships you can rack up with the Bulldogs.

So let's take a look at how our upcoming football roster matches up with their online personas. Since the official 2011 season roster has not been released, we will be using the 2011 Spring Depth Chart. Numbers and analysis after the jump.

Analysis

Not too many surprises in the scoring here. There are some areas that are empty where players are either too new to rank (freshmen and redshirt freshmen) or they have not played enough either because of depth in the past seasons or injuries (like Marcus Green at TE).

Maybe as the fall depth chart is revealed, we can fill in some of the NA markings with accurate numbers.

Mississippi State

Their is something that I just don’t understand about the so called Elite High School football players from Mississippi. It seems to me that most of them don’t want to play for their home state. Miss State is on the rise and really has a chance to show the other big dogs in the conference that they are no longer door mats, but the new recruits coming out of high school in the state are turning their backs on the school. Where is the pride in where your from? Players from the State of Alabama can’t wait to play for their Universities, but I guess if you can’t beat them join them. Jumping on the band wagon of another State schools shoe laces because they are affraid to play agains’t them. What sale outs. WHERE IS THE PRIDE in where your from is all I’m asking?
