Pride

I have never been so proud to call myself a Mississippi State fan. This season especially, but the past four years in general. The only way you can not be excited about what is going on in Starkville is if you are a grove dweller. Everything has changed. Everything from the overall attitude of the fan base to the hashtags in the endzone. We have one of the most dedicated and passionate fan bases in the country. A #webelieve sign on the today show? That is beyond awesome. The #webelieve campaign is something that sets us apart and shows the country that we are a unified fan base that loves our bulldogs and want everyone to know. As a state fan, if you saw the #webelieve signs people were tweeting last night and did not get a little emotional and pumped up, I suggest consulting your local doctor in regards to your lack of a pulse/heart. We successfully got every college football fan in the country to become bulldog fans for one Saturday night out of the year.

Everything Mullen has done the past four years, I believe, comes down to Saturday night. He came to Starkville talking of championships and now it is actually in our grasp and the players and fans alike are BELIEVING. Saturday night is a championship caliber game, exactly where Mullen wanted to get our program and I only see an upward trend from here on out. Sure, we are a 24 point underdog and they are Alabama, but we are in position. No more waiting for basketball season (not only because we are going to be abysmal this year). This is where we want to be. I believe. Do you?
