Sunday Polls: Bulldogs fall to 17 (AP) and 18 (Coaches') after loss to Alabama

Mississippi State made its first descent in the polls today since the season began, following last night's 38-7 loss to Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Bulldogs fell to 17th in the latest AP Poll, as well as 18th in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, both released this morning. State's opponent last evening, the Crimson Tide, was the unanimous #1 in both polls, receiving all first place votes.

MSU's upcoming opponent for next Saturday, the Aggies of Texas A&M, moved up to 16th in both polls Sunday following their 63-21 route of Auburn at Jordan-Hare Saturday night. The Bulldogs and Aggies are still awaiting to hear what time they will face off next Saturday, November 3, 2012.
