Now known mostly for its lunches, Cappe's was put on the map with its mouth-watering Braveheart Angus steaks back in the day. Another new concept for owners Eric and Cappe Hallberg is catering. Catering for parties of 10-1,000 includes entrees like chicken, steaks, shrimp, and fish. This makes a great option for those Tennessee Volunteers that would like to tailgate underneath an orange and white checkerboard tent Saturday.
FAVORITES: Week-day lunch specials hit home with hungry customers. First, all lunch specials (Monday-Friday and Sunday from 11:00-1:30) include bread, tea, and tax for only $8. They even give you options: Meat and 3 veggies, meat and two veggies with dessert, or an all-meat or all-veggie plate for only $6. Yes, all-meat only $6! Carnivores, rejoice! Monday specializes in chicken spaghetti, Tuesday features baked chicken, Wednesday brings juicy meatloaf, Thursday's throwdown is hamburger steak, Friday is packed with homestyle chicken and dressing, and Sunday's special is crispy fried chicken.
