Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M: Another look at MSU's special 'Snow Bowl' jerseys

Another look at MSU's special 'Snow Bowl' jerseys made for Saturday's big game with Texas A&M.

Yes, I know, we revealed these jerseys to you already back in the latter part of September, but I figured you needed a refresher, hence, this post's creation.

As Mississippi State gets set to take on the Aggies of Texas A&M Saturday, they'll be donning these nifty new threads in commemoration of what we assume was the whitest night in Shreveport history not involving cocaine. As you may remember, the last time these two teams met was in 2000, in Shreveport, Louisiana, at the Independence Bowl. Now you may say Mark, why the crap would anyone want to commemorate an Independence Bowl? And I would say well, because that game was an exciting one, ending with a 43-41 Mississippi State win in a snow storm the likes of which most along the I-20 corridor had never seen before, and may never see again.

So as we prepare ourselves for Saturday, let us all think back on that fun night 12 years ago. And kudos yet again goes to the Athletic Department; even though mother nature ain't planning on doing her part to commemorate that game, you guys sure are, and we appreciate that.
