Tough loss for the Diamond Dawgs on Sunday. Kendall Graveman pitched 5 1/3, giving up only two runs despite a sinus infection that had him 'getting sick' in the dugout. Caleb Reed came in for 4 2/3 before things fell apart in the 11th.
The Dawgs tied the game in the bottom of the 9th after a blunder by the Arkansas shortstop. In the bottom of the 11th, MSU scored two runs and had the bases loaded with one out, but it wasn't meant to be. They were left on base just as about 3,492 other Dawg runners were in the game.
