Starting off the day we learn that Deville Smith will no longer be on the basketball team, or be a student at Mississippi State. Bummer.

Then, we learn that Renardo Sidney has signed with an agent, making him ineligible to play at MSU next year. Word is he is looking to sign with the first team who will pay him with a lifetime supply of Oreos.

Finally (although it is not March 27th yet), Steve Prohm signs an extension with Murray State. He will be paid $300,000 per year. This raise in pay doesn't necessarily mean he turned down Mississippi State. If you thought you had a chance to be hired by a rival company, but before they made their decision your current boss gave you a raise, you would take it, right?
