After winning the Friday night game, MSU loses the final two games of the series for the second consecutive weekend. Auburn won 10-6 on Saturday, and then 8-2 on Sunday. The Tigers improve to 6-3 in the SEC, State drops to 3-6. The Dawgs will remain in 5th place in the West for another week. 3-5 Vanderbilt (11-16 overall) comes to Starkville next weekend. Mississippi State is now 18-11 overall.
