Mitch Slauter's two singles accounted for all of State's hits on the day, but they scored 4 runs off 6 walks and 5 hit batters to win 4-2 and take the series from Ole Miss. Luis Pollerena pitched 5 1/3 innings without giving up any runs. Caleb Reed came in from the bullpen in the 6th to get out of a jam and went the rest of the way to seal the win. Hunter Renfroe robbed a home run from Matt Snyder and another ball Snyder hit was held to a double by the centerfield monster wall - those pretty much preserved the win. The Dawgs now move to 10-11 in the SEC, tied with Auburn and Ole Miss for 3rd in the West, 6th overall. (If Arkansas loses to Florida they will be 2nd in the West, 5th overall).
