As reported by several outlets, East Mississippi Community College forward Colin Borchert has signed with Mississippi State.
Size: 6'8 215 lbs.
Numbers: 15.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg. Third-team NJCAA All-American.
Borchert is a big man that can play inside and out. He led EMCC by hitting 37% of his three-point field goals last season. Borchert is Rick Ray's third signee, joining PG Jacoby Davis and SG Andre Applewhite.
Borchert may not be the last signee of the 2012 class. Trivante Bloodman, JUCO PG from New York, could be the Bulldogs next addition. With Bulldog signee P.J. Hardwick opening up his recruitment, it appears that Rick Ray wants to add another point guard to finish of this year's class.
