100 Days of MSU Football - Day 48

Only 48 days left, guys. We're definitely getting close.

Going into his fourth season leading Mississippi State, Coach Dan Mullen will coach his 48th game as the head man in Starkville this fall. Dan's 48th game leading the Bulldogs will be a November 10th date with the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Tigers, of course, have had our number for quite some time now, winning the last 12 matchups between the two teams. With a returning roster full of All Americans including Tyrann Mathieu and the Bulldogs having to travel to the unfriendly confines of Tiger Stadium, State seems to have yet another difficult task of breaking the streak on its hands in 2012.

Can Tyler Russell, Dan Mullen and the Dogs break the streak this fall? Only time will tell. One things for sure, State will need a perfect game to pull of what few opponents have done in Baton Rouge - come away with a coveted road victory.
