Forty six - the number of Mississippi State wins in the state of Tennessee. The Bulldogs have more wins in the Volunteer state than any other...except Mississippi of course.
State's overall record in Tennessee is 47-38-6. A lot of this has to do with stomping Memphis State in the mid-south (17-6) on many occasion and a decent record at Vanderbilt (5-5-1). MSU's record vs. UT in Knoxville is 7-13.
