DAY 13: JOHNTHAN BANKS
Johnthan Banks is one of those players that I will genuinely miss watching once his career is over at Mississippi State. His stats (Career: 12 INTs, 3 returned for TD), accolades (2012 first-team preseason All-American), and highlight reel (see below) are as good as any player that has ever worn the maroon and white.

Banks' 2011 Stats: 71 tackles (46 solo), 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 9 PBUs, 5 INTs, and one returned for a TD...oh, and a punt return for a TD. AP All-SEC second team and Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist.
After looking at those numbers, there's no question that Banks is the best corner in the SEC and possibly the nation. Also, if you follow Banks on twitter (@JBanks_13) or read his press clippings, it's apparent that Banks is one of those players that truly loves Mississippi State. I, like most MSU fans, admire that about him and hope he closes out his career with a huge year in 2012.
