Best and Worst Case Scenarios For National Signing Day

Butch Dill

No middle ground here, the feast or famine, examined (ooh, a rhyme)

We'll start with the worst:

  • Robert Nkemdiche signs with Ole Miss
  • Deon Mix signs with someone else, probably Auburn
  • Tony Conner sign with Ole Miss
  • Fred Ross goes to Oklahoma State
  • Mackensie Alexander signs with Auburn or Clemson
  • Toby Johnson goes somewhere other than MSU
  • Laremy Tunsil signs with the Rebs
  • Jahmere Irvin-Sills goes to Tennessee, or some place we aren't expecting - bottom line he shuns the Bulldogs
  • Chris Jones goes to, gulp, Ole Miss
  • This class finishes outside of the top 25, Ole Miss is top 5, maybe even #1, and we all become violently ill from being sick to our stomachs.
Best case:

  • Fred Ross signs with State
  • Deon Mix signs with State
  • Chris Jones signs with State
  • Mackensie Alexander signs with State
  • Robert Nkemdiche pulls a fast one and goes to LSU
  • Tony Conner to Alabama
  • We find some extra room and get Toby Johnson
  • Laremy Tunsil goes to Jawja
  • Elijah Daniel flips to Auburn
  • Bonus: Laquon Treadwell doesn't make grades and goes to Juco
  • After all the yapping, State's class ends up ranked ahead of Ole Miss
  • Cherry on top: Bulldogs go into the Tad Pad and beat up on AK and the meth head
