Why being "14" point underdogs against Oklahoma State is inaccurate(also a mini review of last season and a mini preview of this season)

Lets state the facts. What happened last season in the end was awful and we can't just ignore it. We did get some great wins against Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee in my opinion. (The nation might not think that but we defeated other SEC West Teams besides Ole Miss last year) The problem was that after Alabama, we were a different team that looked like to me gave less effort than when we were 7-0. (Saw glimpses of it against LSU and Arkansas) The Egg Bowl was horrible to watch. We had these T-shirts that the players were wearing before the game that said "Our State, Our Trophy". We need to stop stuff like that. The fact is we lost and they won and ill leave it at that. When I watched the Gator Bowl, I thought that we were a better team, but that we were making awful decisions(it wasn't all Tyler Russell). That is the next step is to improve.

To me this is sort of win it or lose it years. We can either do really great or really awful like last year. I'm told that the defense should be better so let's hope that it improves. Making better decisions needs to improve as well. And also having the will to win and the confidence to win(not the cockiness). If we can improve on that (and a bit of the offense/special teams) we should be a better team than most are giving us credit for and be able to compete in the SEC West. It's a good thing that we are predicted 6th in the West because it will be easier to sneak up on a team like LSU. A tough schedule highlights: Oklahoma State, at Auburn, at Texas A&M, at South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, at Arkansas, and Ole Miss(Thanksgiving ESPN(need to get about 3 million viewers to keep it on thanksgiving)(important)) Main Idea: Improvement=winning!

August 30th 2:30 pm ct. The nation will be turning to ABC to find out if preseason Big 12 favorite Oklahoma State is for real. Now what we want to find out is if MSU changed/improved. If they did improve like I hope, then you will see a team that not only competes with Oklahoma State, but also defeats them. Lets also remember that Cowbells are allowed to the stadium. I'm pretty sure there will be no resurrections as well(as far as I know right now). If that's the case it should be louder than a Davis Wade game day. Which is why we need all the Bulldog Faithful to come. If we didn't improve like I hoped. It will be a very long season. We may not improve on everything but we should at least be improved on most of it. Because it is preseason I can't really give out a good score prediction. But I told you the 2 scenarios. If we improved: we win. If we don't: we lose.
