You can add 4-star defensive athlete Gerri Green to the list of recruits who have signed on to play at Mississippi State today.
Green, a Mississippi-Alabama All-Star and Semper Fi Bowl games participant, becomes thelatest Bulldog recruit for the class of 2014 to sign, the school announced today through a statement on the MSU Football Twitter account.
CELEBRATE! 6-4, 221-pound LB Gerri Green from Greenville, Miss. (Greenville Weston HS) is officially a Bulldog! #HailState— MSU Football (@HailStateFB) February 5, 2014
Gerri was one of the early members of this recruiting class, and his decision to become a Bulldog lasted all the way from August to when he put pen to paper this morning. Green's size screams Bernardick McKinney-type player on the defense, and his talent makes him a likely star on this defense in the future.
