Mississippi State's 31st annual Super Bulldog Weekend takes place this April 15-17, and it will feature a top-five baseball matchup, Mississippi State football's spring game and much more.
Mississippi State Men's Tennis starts the weekend's athletic events with a home matchup against Vanderbilt at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre at 5pm Friday. Thirty minutes later, Mississippi State softball starts the first of their three game series against LSU at Nusz Park. Game one of No. 2 Mississippi State vs. No. 5 Texas A&M starts at 6:30 at Dudy Noble Field, and soccer will hold a scrimmage at 7pm at the MSU Soccer Field.
The action picks back up Saturday with the Maroon and White Spring football game at 11am at Davis Wade Stadium. Rosters for this game should be released in the coming days. At 2pm, the Bulldogs and Aggies will resume their series, and at 7pm, the Bulldogs and Tigers will play their second game at Nusz Park.
Sunday is all about the diamond sports as Mississippi State and Texas A&M conclude their series at 1:30pm, and softball wraps up at 3:30pm.
Off the field, there will be plenty to do in Starkville as well. At 8am on Friday, Pig Cooking begins in the parking lot north of the Howell Building, and sampling of the grill will be available in the same place at 4pm. From 9am-noon on Saturday, pig cooking judging will take place at the same location, with sampling available at 11am.
The Cotton District Arts Festival will also take place from 8am-5pm Saturday. The 2016 Old Cotton Mill 5K and one mile fun run takes place at 8am Saturday.
