If, like me, you are a Bulldog lost in a sea of Bama and Auburn fans in the state next door, you may want to look at this Facebook page. Being in Tuscaloosa, I would LOVE the opportunity to watch MSU play with other State fans!

congratulations

Congratulations, you guys kicked our butts on Saturday. Mullen may be annoying, but he had your guys ready and motivated. You played well on offense, defense and special teams. You should be excited. Congratulations again.

UPDATE: Former Bulldog WR Lance Long, who only started 2 games as a senior, has made the final 53-man roster for the Arizona Cardinals.

It's always exciting to see some of our guys "stick" somewhere.

Pretty funny read with an MSU mention:

It’s Mullen Time: It’s been quite some time since the good folks of Starkville, have had much to cheer about. But with Tim Tebow’s former offensive coordinator, and Urban Meyer’s former right hand man now on the sidelines, things are looking up for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Andy Katz of ESPN talks basketball:

Mississippi State
Starkville isn't exactly Las Vegas or New York, but the Bulldogs seem to generate plenty of news. The eligibility of Renardo Sidney continues to be a major story. Getting 7-2 John Riek eligible after he declared for the draft, went to Cincinnati, had knee surgery and found his way to Starkville was another story. Riek can play, but the big man will have to sit the first nine games. Jarvis Varnado, who declared for the draft, then returned, should easily become the NCAA's all-time leader in blocks. And if the rest of the role players are as good as Rick Stansbury promotes, the Bulldogs should be a top-15 team throughout the season.

"We had discussed it with coach (Rick) Stansbury and he let us know that if Jarvis put his name in the draft, and he had a chance to get Renardo Sidney ... we'll take out a loan so he can come back to school," Winston Varnado, the coach at West Point High School, said.

We take a look at Dan Mullen's record as Florida offensive coordinator and ask a Gator fan what he thinks might happen in Starkville with Mullen at the helm.
