Zac Houston to Start Against Troy

+

In what will be his fourth start of the season, Zac Houston (3-0) is set to take the mound tomorrow night for the Bulldogs. This is Houston's first start since throwing on April 20th against Louisiana-Monroe, where he struck out 2 batters in 2.0 innings of work. It's expected that Cohen will use a variety of pitchers tomorrow, and more than likely that Houston will only throw about 2-3 innings. Houston's longest appearance came in his start against Nicholls State, where he started and struck out 10 batters in 6.0 innings.

Chris Jones Dances on Stage and Crushes Roger Goodell

+

Chris Jones had arguably the best reaction to being drafted that you'll see this year. After being chosen with the sixth pick of the second round, the giant defensive lineman had some fun and gave out some very emotional hugs to celebrate making it into the NFL.

Konnor Pilkington to Pitch Game Three

+

In a move that isn't really that much of a shocker, it has been announced that Konnor Pilkington will start game three of the series as the Bulldogs look to go for a sweep. The game three pitching struggles have been well documented all season, but they've slowed down a bit since Pilkington has earned the last two Sunday starts. With this announcement, it feels like Pilkington has done enough to likely keep the job as his for the rest of the season, though, tomorrow's results may influence this some. A strong showing will probably cement his position in the three game rotation.

This Guy has a Cooler Grooms Cake than You

John Gaskin, @jdgaskin of the twitters, celebrated Maroon Friday in a pretty cool way. I'm not exactly sure how weddings work, I'm a 21 year old dude in college, but apparently there's multiple cakes involved. John clearly has the coolest one. Congrats on the wedding and having a great cake John!
