Just hours after the official announcement that State would take on Northwestern in the 2013 Gator Bowl, we already know who is the favorite for the game still 30 days out.

Mississippi State opened as a 2 point favorite this evening over the Wildcats for the 2013 Gator Bowl, according to 5Dimes.

Honestly, this is about what I expected. The teams are fairly evenly matched, and this should be a pretty closely contested bowl game. Obviously, that line can also sway one way or the other quite a bit in a month's time between now and January 1st as well.
