The SEC coaches have voted on who they felt were the best freshmen in the league this year, and MSU's Bernardrick McKinney was among those selected.
The red-shirt freshman from Tunica, Mississippi was named to the coaches' freshmen All-SEC team today, the league announced.
McKinney had an outstanding first campaign with the Bulldogs, tallying 97 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and a fumble recovery.
