One of the more peculiar recruiting stories to follow this season is officially over, as the talented 5-star Florida recruit picks Clemson over Mississippi State and Auburn.
One of MSU's most peculiar targets to follow this year has been 5-star Immokalee, Florida cornerback Mackensie Alexander. Alexander, who was once committed to Tennessee last year, had since been an expected Clemson, Mississippi State, and then lately, Auburn lean. His recruitment had been quite a guessing game for many recruiting writers, but today, he ended that guessing game, choosing Clemson over Auburn and Mississippi State.

Alexander was the last remaining un-committed prospect on MSU's roster. Deon Mix chose Auburn, Tony Conner to Ole Miss, and Fred Ross committed to MSU last evening. Mackensie's brother, who was also an MSU target but never high on State, chose Auburn as well.
