Earlier in the week, it appeared that Mississippi State still had a chance to land **** JUCO CB Carroll Washington. The Georgia native, who took an official visit to Starkville this past weekend, announced earlier this week that he would officially make his decision and sign with (assumedly) either Arkansas or MSU next Wednesday. However, after officially meeting with new Arkansas coach Brett Bielema today, it appears that decision is already final:
Next Year I'm taking my talents to Fayetteville. It's official. #HogNation

Missing on Washington is tough, but it may have been a long shot for State to begin with. Washington had been committed to the Hogs since August, but there was a slight chance that MSU could edge their way in, depending on the hire that the Razorbacks made. But, after Washington finally met with Bielema, it appears he left satisfied and will head to Fayetteville in January.
