Mississippi State hired an outside-the-box, off-the-radar type candidate for its men's basketball coach, but as MSU fans, why would we be surprised by that?

Several days ago KTUL out of Tulsa reported that Oral Roberts coach Scott Sutton was in Atlanta interviewing for both the Nebraska and Mississippi State vacant basketball coaching positions. In his update on the coaching search, today Matt Stevens of the Columbus Dispatch says that's not true. Thank goodness!
