Of course, this is strictly for fun but after three rocky football weeks, this ray of light could be exactly what MSU (7-3, 3-3 in the SEC) needs to finish the season strong in Starkville and in Oxford next week.

Arkansas (4-6, 2-4 in the SEC), who defeated a fairly decent Tulsa squad two weeks ago but lost at South Carolina yesterday, is desperately trying to get two more wins to reach bowl eligibility. Bad news? They would need to beat Mississippi State and LSU. Arkansas has had a nightmare tumultuous season after losing their head coach earlier this year, starting the season ranked No. 10 in the AP, and experiencing a load of player issues.

Saturday will be the final home game of 2012 and Senior Day for a great group of program-rebuilding young men. After a well-played game in Death Valley, State honestly looks very poised to reach nine wins before bowling. This week will be big mentally for seniors as well as the coaching staff.

[UPDATE - 11.12.2012, 7:30 p.m.] - The line for this game has dropped, but only slightly, from 7 points in MSU's favor to 6.5.
