Dawgs Win Game 1 in Tuscaloosa, 3-1
Chris Stratton is now 9-0 as he defeated Alabama after seven scoreless innings of work. State used four pitchers to get the final six outs of the game, Johnathon Holder earning the save.
MSU is now 11-11 in the SEC, which ties them with Arkansas for 5th overall and 2nd in the West.
Game 2 will be played at 2:05 on Saturday, Kendall Graveman gets the start.
