We're just a few days into the start of fall camp and Mississippi State is now down one wide receiver for the 2014 season. Shelby Christy, a redshirt freshman wideout from Geismar, Louisiana tore his ACL in practice and is out for the season, Dan Mullen told the media Friday afternoon.

Christy, a former 3-star prospect who chose the Bulldogs over Nebraska and others, will now have to apply for a medical redshirt waiver at the end of his eligibility to hopefully regain this season. He was not listed on the original two-deep depth chart that MSU released with the media guide several weeks ago.
