Ok...I am gonna be out & unconnected tomorrow & Saturday. Heading to Miss to help the kiddo drive home for the summer. So to ensure there is an open thread, I just modified this post for the whole weekend. If it's not needed so be it, however better to be safe than sorry.

Game 1:

The Diamond Dawgs open up a 3 game series tonight at the Dude hosting the Mizzou Tigers. Mizzou comes into the series after sweeping Tenn last weekend, while the Diamond Dawgs took 2 of 3 from Bama. Tonight's game is being shown on the SEC Network. Mizzou is sending rightie Reggie McClain who is 4-2 and has a 3.72 ERA. Dakota Hudson takes the mound in Game 1 tonight. Tonight's batting order is Mangum, Kruger (C), Lowe, Collins, Reid. H., Rooker (DH), Robson, Gridley, & Holland. Expect to see Cody Brown, Alexander, Mike Smith, Stoval, & Cole Gordon in later innings.

Game 2:

The Diamond Dawgs opened the series with a 8-2 W over Mizzou. Mizzou sends out rightie Tanner Houck who is 4-4 with a 3.12 ERA. Given his record, I don't get why the announcers said last night he was a future #1 pick in the 1st round of the MLB draft. Austin Sexton gets the start for the Diamond Dawgs. I believe given last night's performance the batting order will be: Mangum, Kruger (C), Lowe, Collins, Reid. H., Rooker (DH), Robson, Gridley, & Holland. Also expect to see Cody Brown, Alexander, Mike Smith, Stoval, & Cole Gordon in later innings again tonight.

Game 3:

Based on Thursdays post from both Miss St and MIzzou, this is the game of ??? on the mound from both Miss St & Mizzou. I also expect this game to be Miss St going for the sweep and I hope I am right about this. In reality no clue who will pitch for Mizzou. However after last Saturday, I expect Konnor Pilkington to get the start on the mound. I also think the batting order will be the same as Friday again, given the effectiveness. HAIL STATE & SWEEP Mizzou.
