There’s been a lot of speculation about the Scott Stricklin situation, and it looks like Mississippi State might need a new athletics director.
Florida is expected to name Mississippi State's Scott Stricklin its AD at a presser Tuesday, a person with knowledge tells @USATODAYsports

I’m told Stricklin is in Gainesville now finalizing the deal.

Stricklin has done a lot of good for Mississippi State athletics. He’s built upon the foundation that Greg Byrne placed and has kept everything going. Marketing was a huge strong suit for Stricklin and was one of his primary focuses while he was athletics director.
If these reports pan out to be true, and it looks like they will, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Florida has the funds and brand to appeal to anyone that they want. The only good thing that could result from this would be if Scott Stricklin started plastering “#Gainesvegas” all over Florida’s football field.
Can't wait for #Gainesvegas to be plastered all over Florida's football field next year tbh
