Here’s How You Can Help Robin Morris Fight Colon Cancer

You may be wondering who Robin Morris is, and to be completely honest with you, I don’t know her. I’ve never met her. But, both her and her husband, Todd, graduated from Mississippi State. Todd is actually a former football player for Mississippi State. And they could both use some help right now.

You see, Robin was diagnosed with cancer. Stage 4 colon cancer, to be exact. And it has spread to her liver. A couple of days ago, she started treatment to fight cancer. Cancer is never an easy battle, and it’s certainly not an inexpensive one. And that’s why I’m writing this and sharing their story. And that’s why I hope you can help.

Robin has many names to us all: wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, pharmacist, co-worker... We can not forget to add athlete, competitor, and fighter to the list. She is the strongest person I know. As she told her Mom, "Now you know why I'm so stubborn."

We believe that God is awesome, and nothing touches us that doesn't go through His hands. Our God is faithful. He will carry us through this. She is a child of God. He is able to watch over her and keep her. Lamentations 3:22-24 tells us, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in him."
