The Mississippi St. Bulldogs and BYU Cougars will take the field after Mississippi State has an off week this coming weekend. They’ll resume play on Saturday October 14, bright and early in the morning.
KICKOFF TIME

Our Oct. 14 game against BYU will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on the @SECNetwork from Davis Wade Stadium#HailState pic.twitter.com/Z5omxS9DfV
With Mississippi State coming off two terrible performances on the road and BYU struggling to get their only win against a really bad opponent, the 11 a.m. kickoff time is not that big of a surprise. It might not be a surprise, but it doesn’t mean people are going to like it.
It’s still too early to know who the favorite is by Vegas standards. But based off of the lone opponent both BYU and Mississippi State have in common, I would expect the Bulldogs to be the heavy favorite in the contest. BYU played their second game of the season against the LSU Tigers.
The Cougars were shut out by the Tigers in New Orleans by a score of 27-0. Mississippi State on the other hand, gave LSU their worst loss in the history of the series during week 3, 37-7.
If you’re wondering what to wear, this game is scheduled to have the lower level in white and the upper level in maroon. It’s the next to last game in which the school is trying to have different sections of the stadium where different colors.
Regardless of the time, the game should still be fun. This is a great opportunity for the Bulldogs to get back on track and finish out the 2017 season on a positive note.
