Mississippi State Women’s Basketball Continues to Dominate

Kelly Price/MSU Athletics

Mississippi State women’s basketball team has not skipped a beat all season. The Lady Bulldogs continued to dominate on Sunday afternoon when they faced off against the Little Rock Trojans. Morgan William led the team with 16 points as the Lady Bulldogs thumped the Trojans 86-48.

Besides the three point victory over OK State (79-76), this team has not had any problems controlling the court. With Morgan William, Victoria Vivians, and Teaira McCowan, they are always finding ways to put points on the board. The least amount of points they’ve scored all season was 65 points against a tough Arizona State team.

Now the Lady Bulldogs are looking towards Wednesday’s matchup against the #9 Lady Ducks of Oregon. The Lady Ducks have only lost one game all season and that was to the #4 Lady Cardinals of Louisville (74-61). This will certainly be the toughest matchup that either of these teams have had all season. The Lady Bulldogs have put up over 100 points in one game this season, whereas the Lady Ducks have put up over 100 points twice this season. So, don’t be surprised if both teams put up some serious points.

This game will be played at the Hump at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13 or you can watch on the SEC Network.
