South Carolina came into this week as the #1 team in the SEC Standings. But following a shocking loss to Alabama earlier this week, the Gamecocks have found themselves on the odd end of the tail in a 3 way tie with Kentucky and Florida. The 19th ranked Gamecocks are one of 3 SEC teams that are ranked in the Associated Press Poll this week. A loss in Starkville would ensure that they drop out, so expect the Gamecocks to come out fiery. Meanwhile for Mississippi State the Bulldogs have come off a hard fought loss at Auburn after trailing by as much as 20. The Bulldogs need to have a much better 1st half if they have a chance to win on Saturday.

Mississippi State just plays better at the Humphrey Coliseum in SEC Play this season minus the Alabama game. Losses on the road to Auburn and Ole Miss earlier this season were predictable. This one just feels like it has MSU Win all over it. I am pretty sure with a good crowd MSU gets the upset. So I will say MSU 75 South Carolina 65.
