The Bulldogs were carried to victory thanks to Konnor Pilkington’s career high 13 strikeouts against the 30 batters that he faced. In his time on the mound, Pilkington held the Jaguars to a meager 4 hits that they were unable to do anything with.

The Bulldogs had a rather modest day at the plate themselves as they did not look anything like the version that we saw a couple of weekends ago. But they were able to score 2 runs off of 6 hits with Brent Rooker and Dustin Skelton combining for 3 of those hits and 2 RBIs.
MSU will look to continue their winning ways against Columbia this afternoon at 1 before facing South Alabama again.
