Fred Ross wasn’t picked up during the draft, which is a shame. However, it didn’t take the talented wide receiver very long to find himself a place to call home. The Carolina Panthers have called Fred Ross up and has signed him as an undrafted free agent.

This is a good move for both parties as Cam Newton and the Panthers desperately need receivers and Fred Ross is, well, a pretty good receiver. In his career, Ross amassed 199 catches for 2528 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Ross will look to prove himself to the Panthers, and the rest of the NFL. He’ll be joining a young group of offensive weapons headed to Carolina alongside Christian McCaffrey and Curtis Samuel.
