Mississippi State’s Nelson Adams is Signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an Undrafted Free Agent

The Pittsburgh Steelers have added Nelson Adams after the draft

Nelson Adams is officially in the NFL. The defensive lineman went undrafted, but he was picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Adams will join a defense heavy draft and undrafted free agents haul by the Steelers. He’s one of three players in this group that play along the defensive line that will hope to find a permanent spot on their roster.

In his career, Adams compiled 80 total tackles, 4 sacks, and an interception. 25 of those tackles and 2.5 of those sacks came during his senior season. Adams has the size to compete in the NFL and now he has a chance to do so.
