Mississippi State’s Successful Season Shouldn’t Be Overshadowed by Last Night’s Results

Well, this is not how anyone wanted to finish the season. But first, congrats to South Carolina! Yeah, we lost, but we had a hell of a year. We could be sad that it's over or mad because stupid refs but just be happy it happened. If you think about it, in 4 years who's gonna remember who won this national title, but they will remember Morgan William shooting that buzzer beater to break UCONN’s 111 game streak.

Behind every good run a team goes on their is a player that is always mentioned,and for us that's Morgan William. Itty Bitty will be remembered by MSU fans for Forever. She had a fantastic final four. Scoring 41 points versus Baylor then gets the game winning shot versus UConn. I'd say she is a major key to this run.

Tonight, as I watched this team play and thought to myself “"Woah, we are playing for A national championship right now”. Yes, we lost, but I'm not sad. Coach Schaefer could have been watching this game at home tonight but no, that’s not how it played out. It’s a bit cliche, but don't be sad that it's over, be glad it happened. Vic Schaefer has taken this team farther than anyone expected it to go. The haters and doubters were hushed.

But in the end. We will be back. Do not count Mississippi State out. This team has depth and Vic Schaefer is still at the helm. Praise the Lord and Go Dawgs! .
