The Bulldogs have done it again! For the 21st time this season, Mississippi State (32-17, 16-8 SEC) has come back to win, this time against the Texas A&M Aggies (34-15, 14-10 SEC) to clinch the series in game three.

The Bulldogs were down 2-0 entering the 6th inning and had simply struggled to get anything going at the plate all day. But a Jake Mangum groundout with Tanner Poole and Josh Lovelady on base would bring Lovelady home and the Bulldogs within 1 run of the Aggies.
Texas A&M would go on to extend the lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the 6th with a solo home run, but Mississippi State would tack on three more runs in the 7th. An error on the part of the Aggies, an RBI single from Poole, and a passed ball added up to give MSU a 4-3 lead.

With the win, MSU positions themselves at the top of the SEC and puts the team in great position as they strive to win the conference for the second year in a row. The remaining SEC series for the Bulldogs includes Georgia next weekend and LSU to end the year.
