Brent Rooker Named 1st Team All-American by Baseball America

Baseball America announced their First, Second, and Third All-American Teams today. You’ll never guess which Mississippi State Bulldog was named to the First Team.

I hope you detected the sarcasm. If not, sorry about that. Brent Rooker was named to the First Team.

If there was any surprise from now since the start of the year, its that hes listed as the first baseman. At the beginning of the year, Rooker played the only position we have ever seen him at, in the outfield. but early in the season, Rooker was switched to 1st and has made a seamless teansition.

Brent Rooker will be named to many All-American teams this season. He’s had one of the best offensive years we have ever seen by a Bulldog. congratulations to him, and I look forward to writing about all the All-American teams he’ll be named to in the coming weeks.
