In an offseason that has been headlined by transfers of talented players, Ben Howland was able to flip the script in his direction, adding 5-star prospect Reggie Perry to the class of 2018.

Perry is a 6'9, 200 pound forward out of Thomasville High School in Thomasville, Georgia. According to 24/7, he is the 4th ranked small forward in the class of 2018, in addition to being the 15th ranked recruit nationally. In August of last year, he committed to Arkansas but decided to look elsewhere on July 5th.
For a team that has holes in the post, Reggie Perry is a huge get for Ben Howland and Mississippi State. Perry is Howland's third 5-star recruit to be a Bulldog during his time in Starkville, joining Malik Newman and Nick Weatherspoon.
