IT IS BACK.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, College Football in the Southeastern Conference is back, and what a first weekend it was. We had nail biters, we had boring games, but I'm not here to talk about those. I'm here to talk about THE BULLDOGS OF MISSISSIPPI STATE.

WOW what a game. One word comes to mind when I think about this game and how good we looked. Domination is that word. Mississippi State racked up 555 yards of offense with 29 first downs and almost a 50-50 split on yards rushing and passing.

Charleston Southern gained only 33 total yards and two first downs against an MSU defense that allowed an average of 459 yards per game last season. Tougher competition looms, but with nine tackles for a loss, one sack and two safeties, the Bulldog defense carried the day.

Fitzgerald was 16 for 29 for 239 yards, throwing touchdown passes to Gabe Myles and Deddrick Thomas. Aeris Williams and Dontavian Lee both rushed for a Bulldog TD

The Defense straight owned this weekends game and they are what caught my eye most of this game. Kylin Hill on the other hand looked liked a runaway train that could not be stopped. With him and Kayteon Thompson leading the way, We seem to have a bright future.

The Takeway:

WOW we performed great, I hope this carries over to next week to Ruston. Catch my preview later on in the week for that game ad the Buuldogs take on another set of Bulldogs
